Our Policies

Our kitchen has been inspected by North Carolina's Department of Agriculture. We are fully licensed to operate out of our home and maintain strict cleanliness guidelines.

Pricing

We require at least 2 weeks' notice to produce a cake for your event.

 

We require a 50% deposit to secure your order. The remaining balance is due 2 weeks before the date of the event, or 1 month before the date of the event if it is a wedding.

Any changes to your order must be made no later than two (2) weeks prior to delivery. If your order is canceled, 50% of the total cake cost is non-refundable, plus any and all expenses already incurred in behalf of the finished product. In the event that something occurs to affect your scheduled event date please contact us to discuss options. Please note: Notification of cancellation must be made 14 days prior to the

delivery date; after which 100% of total monies is forfeit and cannot be used toward any future cake purchases.

 

We are not responsible for any damage to the cake after setup is complete. You are responsible for providing an appropriate and secure table and environment for the cake(s). Cakes are heavy and require a sturdy table, and optimal room temperature of 75 degrees or below.

If you or your representative elects to pick up and set up the cake, you assume all liability and responsibility for the condition of the cake once it leaves Sketches and Cream's possession.

 

On occasion we will photograph our cakes and we reserve the right to use any photographs for display or promotion without compensation to you.

 

Our products may contain or come into contact with milk, wheat, nuts, soy, and other allergens. You agree to notify your guests of this risk and hold us harmless for allergic reactions.

In the case of an unavoidable occurrence, such as a car accident or poor road conditions during delivery --- Sketches and Cream cannot be held liable for more than the price of the cake.
